Getting Started Guide

Reach out, the smart way

FA OutReach helps you message your own network on Messenger — faster and safely. The tool finds the person, opens the chat, and copies a personalised message; you paste it and press Send. That one tap of Send is exactly what keeps your account safe.

Part 1

Request your friends list from Facebook

Facebook lets you download your own friends list through its official tool. It's safe and private — you're only requesting your own data.

1
On the Facebook app or website, go to Settings & Privacy → Accounts Centre.
2
Tap Your information and permissions, then Download your information.
3
Tap Download or transfer information, then choose Some of your information.
4
Under Connections, tick Friends and followers only, then continue.
5
Choose Download to device. Set Date range to All time and Format to JSON. (JSON is required — HTML won't work as well.)
6
Tap Create files / Start export. Facebook emails you when it's ready (usually a few minutes for friends only).
7
Open the email “Your Meta information is ready to download” and download the ZIP. You have 4 days before it expires.
8
Unzip it, open connections → friends, and find friends.json (or your_friends.json). That's your file.

Important

Always choose JSON format and All time. Keep the downloaded file private — it's your personal data. The file has names only (no links) — that's normal; see Part 3.

Part 2

Send your first messages

Once you have your friends file, it takes just a few taps.

1
Open outreach.faph.online and tap Sign in with Google.
2
Open Setup, then under Import friends list, choose your friends.json. It's read on your device only — nothing is uploaded.
3
Under Select who to include, tick the friends you want to reach, then tap Add selected to queue.
4
For each person, tap Copy message, open their Messenger chat, paste, and Send.
5
Back in the tool, tap Sent to move to the next person. It tracks your progress and daily count for you.
6
Edit your templates any time in Setup to match your voice. Keep the {name} tag so each message is personalised.
Part 3

One-tap Open chat (optional, saves time)

Add a person's Facebook link and the tool opens their chat for you and copies the message in one tap. You still paste and Send yourself.

1
On the person's Facebook profile, tap the three dots (…) → Copy link (or use the visible facebook.com/username link).
2
In the tool, paste it into the “Optional: paste their Facebook link” box under that contact.
3
A blue Open chat & copy button appears. Tap it — the message is copied and their chat opens.
4
In Messenger, paste (long-press → Paste, or Ctrl+V) and Send.

Saved for next time

Once you add someone's link, the tool remembers it by name — you won't need to type it again, even if you re-import your friends later. Everything stays in your browser only, private to you.

Part 4

First message vs Follow-up

At the top of the tool you'll see two modes. Tap to switch between them.

A
First message — your initial reach-out. New contacts start here.
B
Follow-up — shows only people you've already first-messaged, with a gentler nudge. Give them a few days to reply first, and Skip anyone who already replied.

Each mode is tracked separately, so the same person can get a first message now and a follow-up later — without being messaged twice by accident. More greeting modes (birthday, seasonal) are on the way.

Part 5

Text formatter — make words stand out

Below your template you'll find styling buttons. Select a part of your message (or leave it unselected to style everything), then tap a style. The fancy letters paste anywhere — Messenger, posts, comments.

Use it sparingly

A bold name or one key line reads great. But a whole message in fancy fonts can look spammy and is hard for screen readers — so keep it light. Tip: tap Normal to reset any text back to plain. Your {name} tag always stays intact, even when styled.

Reach out safely

The golden rules

Start with people you already know. Keep it to about 10–20 messages a day and spread them through the day. If someone replies, answer personally — never blast. You paste and press Send yourself, so your account stays safe. Don't rush it.

Your privacy

Your friends list, saved links, queue, and progress are stored in your own browser only — never on our server. Sign-in only saves your name and email to secure your access. If you clear your browser data, just re-import your friends file.
